The resource will work on prototyping and industrialization of devices in the area of plant electrification.
He/She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electronic solutions with other industrial systems and technologies.
He/She sets up and performs tests to validate solutions/prototypes, collecting data and critically analyzing results, proposes and makes necessary improvements.
He/She drafts technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Major activities include: -test set-up with preparation of hardware (e.g., wiring, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly ) and device management, monitoring, and data collection software (e.g., PLC programming)- 3D printing of small parts useful for testing and prototyping-research and selection of components including contacting potential suppliers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or related training/experience preferred
- Previous experience in the field, preferably in one of the following areas: circuit design, automation systems, renewable energy, or electronics
- Knowledge of electrical design software.
- High aptitude for hands-on activities for test execution and data collection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
