The SNETP Forum 2024, with over 270 participants from 26 different countries, co-organized by SNETP and Associazione Italiana Nucleare (AIN) , of which SIMIC was one of the sponsors, ended last week in Rome.

It was a great opportunity for us to participate in discussions aimed at accelerating the deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs) and advanced modular reactors (AMRs) by addressing critical business strategies. Technical sessions covered key topics such as building new nuclear power plants (NPPs), improving the supply chain, digitalisation (with a focus on cybersecurity), exploring non-electric applications, extending the life of existing facilities (LTO) and the response to the challenges related to decommissioning and dismantling, including effective waste management.

The Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform Forum 2024 was a fantastic event, we are happy and proud to be part of this community.
