The Facility Engineer will be responsible for the optimal management and maintenance of a company’s plants and facilities, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all physical assets. The position plays a key role in ensuring environmental comfort, safety and productivity within the organization.
He/She will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance: planning, executing and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and security systems.
He/She will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the condition of buildings, facilities and equipment, identifying and resolving any faults or malfunctions in a timely manner.
He/She will ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations and compliance with facility safety standards.
He/She will be able to implement measures to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and facilities, contributing to cost reduction and environmental impact.
He/She will manage any emergencies, defining and implementing emergency plans and crisis management.
He/She will collaborate with other company departments to ensure proper operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, energy or similar) or technical degree.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Facility Engineer or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of safety and fire prevention regulations.
- Problem solving skills, results orientation, ability to work in a team, excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and perform maintenance work even after hours.
