As part of the “Galileo Project” at the industrial site of Torviscosa (UD) for the pharmaceutical company SPIN SpA, a production site of the Bracco Group, a world leader in the pharmaceutical diagnostic imaging sector, SIMIC has been awarded an important EPC contract for the construction of complex industrial plants.

At SIMIC, we engineer and execute complex lifting operations with precision, safety and unmatched know-how.

The photos below capture a critical site erection phase involving the lifting and installation of large pipe rack modules, with single weights up to 300 tons and measuring up to 100 meters in length.

These operations required the use of ultra-heavy-duty crawler cranes, including one of the largest in Europe, to maneuver massive steel structures within tight industrial spaces.

This is not only about lifting weight — it’s about precision engineering, logistics coordination, and operational excellence.

Every component was installed with millimetric accuracy to fit seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.

Another major milestone delivered by SIMIC’s on-site teams.

Another demonstration of our ability to handle complexity, scale, and responsibility in strategic industrial projects. Stay tuned to see the developments of this challenging project.
